| Francesca Romana Reinero |
Congratulations to Francesca Romana Reinero for her new accomplishment. Having, in September 2015, successfully completed the University of Rome graduating with the highest marks (110 cum laude), discussing a thesis on “ethology of White sharks” in collaboration with the Shark Research Centre (CSS), Francesca was recently awarded a scholarship to study for a PhD at the University of Calabria. The Francesca doctorate aims to develop the studies on Elasmobranchs of the central Mediterranean basin. This is the first PhD on the subject in Italy.
The Shark Research Centre (CSS) of Massa Marittima is particularly proud of the success of Francesca for having proven to be a valuable staff member.

The doctoral tutor is Prof. Sandro Tripepi and, in the coming weeks, the activities of the doctorate will be fully detailed. The project will take place over the next three years.

The Shark Research Centre(CSS), with its new structure, will certainly be included among the reference laboratories for the activities of the same degree, and, in particular, to follow the activities to be carried out in the central and northern Tyrrhenian.
